So this is it....

We're taking the plunge! We're moving in with Heather (my oldest daughter) and her 3 girls, Raquel-14, Liz-11 and Hannah-7.

I'm excited and a bit scared :-/ I'm excited to help Heather with the challenges of raising kids in this crazy world today on a daily basis... The scary part has to do with loosing my ME TIME. I love the freedom I have and I'm very selfish with my alone time but I know that helping Heather will far outweigh any sacrifices I make.

So the big day is June 15th! I'll work on my house for the week and then start helping Heather with hers since she'll have more time to get moved. Maybe this blog should turn into a diary of my trails and tribulations of our new combined household... we'll see!

Shhhhh..... Don't tell....

I think... maybe... I should start blogging. I see so many people use their blog in their scrapping for journaling. And since I'm all about scrapping lately, it seems like a logical step. We'll see...


Now lets see who finds my post first. LOL

What can I say......

I fail as a blogger.... we all know that. Thanks to those of you who have diligently showed up here looking for a sign of life. I'm just no good at this. I have nothing important or earth shattering to share. I'm not funny like my good friend Cheri Pryor my username is cheripryor... I'm just not.

But I'm going to put a bit of life back in my blog. Give it a bit of life with... what else??? A picture of my precious babies!! Hope y'all are having a great day!!

My soaps...

Ok I admit it.. I watch soaps. I've watched them on and off for 30 years. I missed them Friday so I headed over to my favorite scoops site to see what I had missed and then got linked to, of all things, The Soaps Message Board... Can I just say... OMG!! Those people are whacked.. yes even more than the whacked people on SJ ;) They talk and argue about the characters and story lines like they are real.. Like these people's lives depend on the outcome of the day's episode.
My favorite line for my overzealous SJ people is "IT's just a message board".. Now I think I need to become a member of the soaps board so I can relay to those folks that "It's just a friggin Soap Opera People"..
I'm feeling much better about myself :lol:

Happy Father's Day

Thought I'd post a few pictures that I shared with some online friends of my dad. He has been gone for 24 years. Some things never seem to get easier.

Hope you all enjoyed your day. Ours was pretty quiet. We just hung out at home and the girls stopped by and brought us lunch.

The crafty side of me....

I have been trolling around the internet..looking at all my crafty friends blogs and I realized I have yeat to put any of my stuff on my blog. My friend Patti says she is going to put hers up on Sundays. That sounds like a good idea so maybe I'll try that but for now.. Here I go with some of my newer stuff...



I just love this picture of Madi.. it was taken about a month ago when our whole family went to the zoo. She was just so uninterested!!

I just love this picture. It worked out perfect that the 2 older ones happened to close their eyes at the same time. What you don't see is that daddy had Kaden by the arm guiding him in to give the new baby a kiss...

So I realized I haven't taken pictures of a bunch of my newer stuff. I guess I will have to load some tomorrow too..

Everyday day..

Katie and the kids came to stay the night Wednesday. Those are some busy kids.. adorable but busy. I got up Thursday morning to Miss Madi smiling at me. We hung out for a bit and let mom sleep. Mr. Kaden also got up before mom. Grandpa was up and helped with him..

Later in the day Katie and I went to the shop and I gave her a makeover.. OMG!!! Her hair is cut all the way up.. up to the top of her neck. So stinking cute. I wish I had taken a picture. I'll have to get one to up on here. It may have been my best work ever. We also made her real blond on top and then did the dark thing under. I'll add a pic when I get one.
